Ideal Candidates

  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
  • 3 to 6 years of estate planning experience and strong writing, and communication skills.
  • Experience working on complex estate planning matters, including core estate planning documents, trust administration, and probate administration.
  • Helpful to have experience with developing lifetime gifting structures through irrevocable trusts and closely-held companies and an understanding of U.S. estate tax principles.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently but embraces teamwork.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Willingness to get involved in the legal and civic community.
